Novia University of Applied Sciences is the coordinator of the Business Cooperation Network within the Baltic Fashion project.
Novia will be develop a Baltic Sea Region wide scheme for business training as well as analyse the potential for moving production back to the BSR. With the support of the Turku creative incubator, Novia will realize a pilot business clinic for assistance and advice to fashion SMEs. Building on it’s cultural background (the area where Novia is located is composed of a national Swedish minority of about 5%), it will analyze and promote “participatory design methods” and investigate “fashion empowerment”.

Novia University of Applied Sciences is an institution of higher education which focuses on clothing design and manufacture in small-scale productions & collections. It is mandated to support regional development by providing regional businesses with practical solutions (i.e. product development, new services, trainings, technological solutions).
